Limited Prep
In Extemporaneous speaking and Impromptu, you're given a limited amount of time, 30 and 5 minutes respectively, to give the speech of your life.
Public Address
In Oratory and Expository speaking, you're giving a prepared 10 minute speech about a subject of your choice.
Policy Debate
A heated two-on-two debate that focuses on plan proposals with a focus on information over speech eloquence.
Interp
Interp events take already published material and have you perform your own spin on them with acting, poetry, and prose readings.
Congressional Debate
An individual event where you write and debate legislature with other students as congressmen or congresswomen.
